L’Atelier du Vin has been creating exclusive wine tools since 1926. The family business has now become the oenology specialist, from cellar to table.

With LÁtelier’s offering they wish to participate in the contemporary pleasurable ritual of wine conservation, preparation and service.

Their credo: a product that is only a beautiful object and that is poorly designed is not terribly interesting. Neither is a product that serves a function but is made of poor materials or a design that does not “make you want” it. For each new project LÁtelier pays attention to both the quality of the design and the choice of materials. They are looking to link successful ergonomics, sensitive touches and refined aesthetics.

• Its special rounded, forged and Teflon plated 5 wires worm (invented by L’Atelier du Vin) grips any sorts of corks without tearing them. Its two large levers lift corks gently but firmly along centre line. Its internal plastic ring prevents the fragile bottle necks from chipping. Its handle is also a bottle-opener. Its colour (mat black) is the ultimate sign of its elegance. Made in France.
